Meet the Secretariat of TGES MUN 2025!!

Secretary General
Ishan Sejush

Ishan approaches diplomacy the way he approaches most things - with clarity, curiosity, and the occasional Christopher Nolan analogy. He believes good leadership isn’t about speaking the most, but knowing when to speak and what really needs to be said.

As Secretary-General, he values structure, momentum, and conversations that lead somewhere. He’s drawn to creative approaches—whether that’s cricket diplomacy between rivals or shared cultural ground over food. And when not debating with someone over Chinese imperialism, you’ll probably find him rewatching Interstellar for the 20th time, questioning whether Cooper ever made it.

Deputy Secretary General
Abhiram Katta

Hey everyone, I’m Abhiram Katta. A 10th-grade student from The Global Edge School, with a passion for diplomacy and a knack for MUNs. I started my MUN journey at the end of 7th grade, and it took off from there. From UNSC to UNHRC, from beating my classmates at debate to rioting over small issues in committee, I’ve done it all. And after all that, I’m proud to be Deputy Secretary General. If you catch me on the off moment where I’m not studying or playing basketball, you’d probably find me toiling to beat our dear Secretary General or simply drowning myself in a harry potter theory debate on twitter - because I never shy away from good debate, be it the wizarding world or world crises and I hope you do the same. Can't wait to see you all at the conference!!

Director General
Divyanshi Mehta

Meet Divyanshi Mehta —

She’s the kind of person you can rely on, whether it’s crisis updates or actual crises. Being to over 10 MUNs, Divyanshi thrives on challenge, diplomacy, and just a bit of controlled chaos. Off committee, you’ll catch her on the badminton court or quoting Donald Trump at the most irrelevant moments (and somehow, making it work).

Deputy Director General
Shreshta Varshini M

Hey, I’m Sreshta, the Deputy Director- General for this edition. I like building things that work, teams, systems, or ideas and making sure they actually stick. I’ve been in the MUN circuit long enough to know what matters, and I bring that same energy to everything I do. I work best under chaos, ideally with a solid playlist and diet coke in hand.
